ACS forecasts that it will reach 5,200 MW for development from 2023 Zero-E aims to be a global leader in the development of sustainable infrastructure, to obtain first rate operating assets diversified across technologies and geographies and a significant portfolio of projects to develop in attractive markets.

In this sense, it will benefit from the execution capacity of ACS and will be focussed on the development, financing and management of the projects, with its sights set on becoming the largest distributor of photovoltaic solar energy in Spain.
The company has 17 projects, 1,481 MW in operation and construction and 445 kilometres of power lines and water desalination and treatment plants with capacity for 286,000 m³ per day.

Photovoltaic accounts for 914 MW, thermosolar for 150 MW, onshore and offshore wind for 397 MW of hydroelectric for 20 MW.

In Spain, it has a capacity of 914 MW of photovoltaic, 50 MW of thermosolar and 53 wind. It also has a presence in the United Kingdom, Algeria, Brazil, Uruguay, South Africa, Chile, Peru and Mexico.

The company, which has around 80% of assets based in Europe, expects to have 1,341 MW of capacity installed by late 2019.

Moreover, it expects this to reach 2.4 GW by 2020, 3.2 GW by 2021 and 4.5 GW by 2022, with a remaining average life of 15-20 years for the contracts.

With the birth of Zero-E, the ACS group hopes for a beneficial relationship together with ACS Servicios Industriales. This way, Zero-E will benefit from synergies with ACS Servicios Industriales, while the legacy of ACS Servicios Industriales will be transferred to Zero-E.

It is also expected that the portfolio will multiply more than three-fold, from 1,341 MW in 2019 to 4.500 MW in 2022 and reaching 5,200 MW in 2023.

The orders portfolio amounts to 8,200 MW with 43% in Spain, 29% in North America, 26% in Latin American and the remaining 2% elsewhere.

Since 2005, ACS has overseen the development 1,632 MW of wind energy capacity, 773 MW of thermosolar capacity, 12,721km of power lines and capacity of 273,000 m3 per day at its desalination and water treatment plants.

With regard to oil and gas projects, ACS aims to intervene as operator with at least 51% share participation in mature oil projects or low risk development. Moreover, it is focussed on integrated operation and drilling services thanks to tender processes in Spain and overseas with no production risk.
