Maessa Naval has more women on the Navantia team

Maessa Naval, a division of Grupo Cobra’s project and assembly activities, is handling all tasks related to the manufacturing of bow and stern steel blocks, the supply and installation of piping, and all tank testing for the future F-110 frigates of the Spanish Navy. The new Bonifaz-class frigate program, also known as the F-110 class, is being developed at the Navantia shipyard in Ferrol, A Coruña, where the workforce is predominantly male.

Although the naval industry is traditionally male-dominated and women are a minority in this field, companies like Maessa Naval are committed to female leadership. The company now has a team of women in high-level management positions, specifically in project direction and management.
