Renewal of the Criminal Compliance and Anti-Bribery Management System

The most representative Spanish companies of COBRA SERVICIOS, COMUNICACIONES Y ENERGÍA have renewed the certificates issued by AENOR on November 27, 2023, which confirm the existence of regulatory procedures as established under UNE 19601 “CRIMINAL COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” and ISO 37001 “ANTI-BRIBERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.”

The purpose of the UNE 19601 standard is to establish a structure and methodology for implementing management models within organizations to prevent any non-compliance. Meanwhile, the ISO 37001 standard provides companies with a model to prevent, detect, and manage bribery and corruption in compliance with both national and international legislation.

Obtaining both certificates confirms that these companies have an effective management system in place to prevent, detect, and analyze criminal behaviors in compliance with current legislation and other voluntarily assumed commitments, acknowledging this as an ongoing improvement process. Additionally, it provides a competitive advantage in terms of building trust among business partners (clients, suppliers, creditors, public bodies, etc.), both public and private, at the national and international levels.
